Hi, I’m Tamoy, a New York based artist. Born and raised in the beautiful country of Jamaica.
As an artist, I am inspired by my daily interactions, the stories of women and our connection to nature. My work promotes self love, and the preservation of children among us. I strive to shed light on the importance of nurturing our children and the inner child within each one of my viewers. Through my work, I explore the resilience and strength of women in today’s society.
Each painting depicts an emotion and connection that I have experienced at some point in my life that enhanced my freedom of expression, in hopes to inspire and motivate my viewers. I try to be authentic with each piece that I do and I create with intention. I hope to challenge one’s perspective of all things and alter their view beyond what they see initially. Each piece presents a different approach to embrace women empowerment.
